Angel Light at Dead End

About Story

Zoe lives in Dead End. This is what people call the world after it has been bombed and damaged by sickness. Zoe runs from a dark shadow that chases her and then falls underground. There she meets Aireramigishia (Airi), a being from space who has been caught in the only mainframe computer left on earth. He needs help to get out, but all the computers were gone by the time Zoe grew up.

Zoe and Airi travel in time to seek help but can find only one small group who are able to see them. They need someone who knows about computers and Red fits their need. The group travels into Dead End to complete the task of getting Airi out of the computer. Airi has promised to try and fix the world if he can be set free.

Characters

Zoe—The main character. She is tough, ultra-watchful, determined, and desperate to complete mission.

Aireramegishia (Airi)—A genius mind caught up in the computer. He is looping through time and needs help to escape. Too smart to understand sometimes.

Sheila—Feisty, tough, and touchy about her mixed heritage. Bites her lips when thinking.

Lane—Tall and slim, twirls her long hair in fingers when she is worried. She is more careful then the rest of the group.

Red—Lane’s brother. A senior in school and a wiz with computers. He wants to get close to Sheila, and blushes easily.

The Over-Mind—The single mind of all the trees on earth.
