Heavens Own

I fell in love with the characters while writing this book, perhaps because two of the main characters are children from a dysfunctional family. The main adult character, Zee notices their plight and begins to help the children, but she doesn’t see until almost too late the horrible power that is determined to destroy them. Help comes in the form of a tough detective who becomes interested in her and the very mysterious Mr. Smith who shows up on her doorstep one day.  All my fiction books revolve around the forces of good verses evil in the world, but any real solution to the conflict must wait until the next book, Heaven’s Final.

Heaven’s Final

This is a small sequel to Heaven’s Own although it can be read alone. Jody, the crippled boy is the main character along with his sister, Jennifer.  The detective from the last book also plays a pivotal role as does Mr. Smith. Zee re-enters the story from heaven because she felt like she abandoned Jody. Like all my fiction, this book is about the forces of good verses evil. The end of this book solves the problem of the main cause of evil in the world.
