Child of the Clouds

Angels assigned to earth during WWII carefully interact with people to prevent accidents as well as an atomic war, but some angels fall in love with humans. A child from such a love match, Maria, is lost during a tornado.

When twelve year old Betty Lou pulls a baby out of the Detroit River, and looses her again, she can’t foresee how both their lives will entwine through the years, or how this simple act will save her own son one day.

God’s angels keep a close eye on Maria after the darkest angel catches her doing tricks. Maria learns to hide her talents, but at fifteen, faced with a desperate need from her long ago friend Betty Lou, she decides she must help her. She ignores the warning by angels who tell her that the use of such talent to make a deep change could bring on a disaster.

Hounded by the dark angel once more, she faces danger until the Archangel Michael steps in to save the situation. After Maria’s act, the angels realize a new way to help humanity help itself.

Disclaimer:

This is a work of fiction. The characters are completely made up and in no way are meant to resemble actual people. Many places in the novel are actual but the events that occur in them are fiction.

It is my understanding that much of the basic information about angels in the book is real, but of course, not the events that happen, which are fictional. I could be wrong, but you can make your own determination about the truth of these angels if you chose to read the novel.
