6/1/17

In the last six months we have had two great shocks regarding our country. The first was when Trump was elected and the second was his pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement. To me, this means that the battle between good and evil has heated up and the most hostile actors are winning, for now. I am not sure what the rest of us can do about this except to keep pushing for truth. The timing of the break in Antarctica may be the perfect event to teach people a lesson, to give a warning and sense of what we are truly up against.

As to preventing another great shock in the political arena, maybe our mayor is right. I read in the Freepress that Duggan believes we need a third party. I am beginning to agree. I was dismayed when Hillary only talked about how bad a Trump presidency would be. She was right, but people didn’t want to hear it, they needed to know what democrats could do for people. Bernie, an independent, did push ideas that the people needed, but was displaced by the Democratic Party. He gave me a vision of the advantages of wealth and how prosperity could spread out to include everyone. And this is what we needed--vision.

Talk all the learned debates you want, but it won’t change anything because we humans are driven by vision and myth. When I read about the new movie, “Wonder Women,” my emotions gladdened when the movie got a good review. I haven’t seen the movie, and may not for ten years if I wait for Netflix to send me a disk, but I do want to see it. Why, because it has always given me a vision and myth that I could believe in. I grew up with Wonder Woman as my favorite American heroine. We all should admire these writers who created such myths and put them in comic book art form for the young to read. They persist because they drive our imaginations to new heights, well until Hollywood reduced them to freaks who can only destroy. But I read that the new Wonder Women move shows her as a warm women as well as a hero. I approve of that.

Vision and myth are just as important in government. America has always stood for the idea of freedom for everyone, the idea that the pursuit of happiness is the right of every American, the idea that work and struggle are the bedrock that keeps us strong.  And then there is the biggest myth of all—that we Americans stand for good against evil. We helped win both world wars because we fought on the side of good, which translates to a wish for the well-being of all people.

So I ask, “Where do we stand now? Who will pull us out of this morass of apathy, division, and loss? Who will turn the nation back to a belief in good for all people? Who has enough strength and courage and guttiness? Who will personify the myth we need? I don’t know. I don’t know.

Note-the HuffPost headline today has the ocean rising and flooding over the image of Trump. Gorgeous visual statement. Their headlines always speak loud and clear to most liberals. I suspect, if Jesus had to make a statement one way or another, he would also be a liberal, even though he loves all people.

Jesus has told me that, “The world will grapple with climate change and finally win.” So thank you Governors and City Mayors and some business leaders for deciding to march forward to fix our climate even without the leadership at the top. We need our leaders to make these decisions because there isn’t much most of us can do about the climate besides change to the new light bulbs. As far as buying a Prius, or electric car, as much as I would love to, like others who can’t afford a new car, I needed to buy used, and what I could afford. Yet, I dearly hope, as a nation, we come to our senses and begin to crave electric vehicles more than huge gas guzzlers.

Note-I read that a few members of congress have said “The earth won’t flood because God promised it after Noah.” and “God won’t let it happen.” Don’t these people realize that We, the people, are the hands and hearts God. God works through us. We are in God’s image and miracle. Here is a joke that will serve:  A man stands on his roof with the water rising. A boat comes by and asks him to get into the boat. He says “No. I am waiting for God to save me.” This repeats two more times. Finally, on the last trip, they beg him to get in the boat. The water has reached his neck, but he still refuses, “I am waiting for God.” Finally the water is about to cover his head. He yells out:  Where are you God? Why didn’t you save me? God answers, “You ninny, I was in the boat.”

 6/3/17

Before we left, Jesus told me he wanted to show us something special today. Actually, during meditation this morning he suggested that we travel later this afternoon. So after planting the Thyme between the stepping stones in my backyard, I sat on the swing thinking about all I still had to do in the yard. Tired from even thinking about all that work, I called Jesus and said how relaxing it would be to travel to another planet with him. I asked the others if they wanted to join us and they did. It only takes five to fifteen minutes for each travel, and it is usually a great pleasure.

So we gathered with Jesus and walked up through the sky-bridge. It is comprised of tree-ness or earth tree minds. It belongs to earth like other sky tunnels or bridges made of different substances belong to other planets. One planet I remember had a rainbow for its sky-bridge. This day, the tree-ness was ripe with pleasure. I could feel this through its wooden skin. I remembered the first time Jesus showed me the sky-bridge. I was amazed at the aliveness of the wood and felt the sides throb like a heartbeat beneath the palm of my hand.

This trip, we walked to the far end and stood at the swaying curtain like substance.             “Would you tell me what color we will see first?” I asked Jesus.

He said we would be surprised. So we just followed him onto the new planet.

And what a planet. At first I couldn’t see anything but a blur of colors. Deep purple was at the bottom and then green to yellow to orange with a touch of red at the top, just like an earth rainbow but this was running horizontally across the land. It also looked solid as if someone had run a paintbrush over the horizon.

We moved closer and I saw that the rainbow was composed of a forest of trees. From a distance it looked like a blur of color but on closer inspection the leaves from one layer didn’t blend perfectly into the next. Still, it was unusually strange. As if each bundle of leaves on a tree knew to die in a different stripe of color.

“How could this be?” I asked. It was beautiful but didn’t make sense. When we stood right next to one of the trees I could see that the leaves were small and almost purple black at the bottom layer. A single leaf looked soft like our own on earth. I would have liked to reach out and touch a leaf, but couldn’t because I was only a spirit. So I lifted my eyes and saw the sky.

It too was a colorful rainbow running in a line over our heads. These colors glowed as if lit from behind.

Jesus explained to us that “This is what they call their high season.”

“Are there only trees on the land?”

“Do you mean there is intelligent life here?”

            Jesus nodded to our questions.

We followed Jesus further up and past the large group of trees and saw a field below that was sliced up into rainbows of color. It looked like a checkerboard made up of lines, somewhat like a series of mowed fields on earth, except these weren’t green, but composed of a multitude of colors.

“Look closely at the fauna.” Jesus told us, as we stepped down amid the growing field.

We did and saw that the whole field was composed of tiny white flowers amid grass and it was all reflecting the sky above as it swayed in the soft breeze. Perhaps the rows ran in different angles which made it look like a checkerboard from up above.

“There is so much color on this world it makes me dizzy. The people must be beautiful too. Are they also colored like rainbows?”

“No, and the people here live in scattered, small villages. They have no large cities.” Jesus told us as we went further to see the people.

We found two people walking in a field reflecting green beneath and crimson at its tips. I looked closely at the people. They could not see me as I checked them out. They were certainly beautiful, but not colored like rainbows. The skin of both people were light with a tinge of purple shadows near the eyes, nose and mouth. They looked very human. Their eyes were large and black. The hair on both people was very long, bluish black, and shown with highlights from the sky. Both people wore short, white garments, the garments did reflect the colors of the rainbow sky in a subdued way.

Jesus told us that both sexes wore their hair long but sometimes a female will braid her hair. We didn’t see any of the villages nearby.

By this time, I didn’t care to visit a village. I felt tired from the color complexity of this planet.

“Is that all you wanted to show us?” I asked Jesus.

I felt the need to leave because I was about to lose my concentration. Sometimes Jesus shows us a specific planet for a purpose, a purpose that I usually don’t understand until much later. But Jesus smiled and agreed that it was time to leave.

Before we said our goodbyes, a few of the others, said, “We are going to come back and see more of this world at a later date. It is fascinating. I agreed it was fascinating, but ten or fifteen minutes is my limit for mind travel at any one time. I am not able to still my mind or hold my concentration as steady as well as some of my friends who practice mental concentration often.

It was a nice visit. I am always glad to see new things, as long as they aren’t damaging or horrible. Jesus knows this so only takes us to planets that we can understand. Of the billions upon billions of planets out there, we see only a small fraction and many are probably unfit for human eyes, at least, this human’s.

I know these travels seem crazy to anyone who hasn’t walked with us. I write about them anyway because I see them as a start of a movement, a very slow movement, to be sure, but one that will sustain and continue over many years.  My worry is that we are headed for a future dystopia and will need mind travels such as this to escape an unbearable existence. Although, I use this theme in most of my fiction stories, I consider my writing as revealing truth through fiction.

I think that seriously horrible events will happen to the people of the future, but I also think that, with Jesus in the lead, these same people, who we consider angels, have come back to our time and are actively helping to prevent such a future. Whether their efforts are working or not, I am not sure. I do see increased effects of love and caring everywhere I look, except in the news. I do see hope as well as struggle as we try to hold to our common values. Let us all pray that our own efforts and those of heaven will prevail to make society better for everyone.

Just having fun with my art program. Looks like a drawing but it is a photo.

6/18/17

I sat on my swing in the back yard in the early evening and asked Jesus if we could travel today. I have been thinking of the tame places we always go and thought we should go someplace not so tame this time.

Jesus smiled and quipped, ”Follow me.”

A few other friends choose to join in the travel this evening. It is always good to have more people because it bolsters my own confidence. When we follow Jesus, we can just step off earth onto a different planet, but I prefer to use the sky bridge. I remember once when Jesus first showed me the sky-tunnel. It felt so alive I could feel its pulse beneath the palm of my hand and it seemed to have red streaks running throughout which reminded me of deep mahogany.

This day too, I rubbed the palm of my hand along the side as we all walked up the sky tunnel behind Jesus. When we got to the top, we followed Jesus to a new planet. .

And what a planet. This planet was truly wild but beautiful. I say this because the winds were fierce but they swirled around making strange colorful patterns in the air. The air was composed of layers and it looked like each layer had a different tint or color. The most beautiful was a middle layer that glowed yellow-white as if it reflected the sunlight. I don’t know how this was possible because the layers above were darker and didn’t glow. Some layers looked thinner than others so probably they had different compositions, which showed up in various tints.

They certainly had different animals living and moving within them. The most amazing fact Jesus told us was that the wind was so strong on this planet that the vegetation moved sideways along with the animals. Most of the food that the strange looking, sleek and long birds depended on for nourishment rolled along with them inside their own layer. I also saw a long mess of green reeds twisted together that looked like a bird nest rolling swiftly alongside a few birds.

The winds weren't all line winds. Some seemed to suddenly dip and swirl as we watched. Most animals and birds seemed able to stay in their own layers even within the turmoil.  Everything went by quickly and I thought it a wonder that anything could live its whole life in a strong current of air, but I think they did just that.

I asked Jesus if there was land on this planet.

We floated down and saw land and some very fat type of animals actually living upon it. They had built wind breaks out of rocks and huddled there. They were gray color like the rocks. I didn’t see any green fauna on the ground, only floating in the air. But their might have been some. At this point my mind drifted away and I lost everyone.

Jesus pulled me back. He agreed that this world was too much for me and added that humans would never visit such a planet. He said wanted to show our group a more normal world with a lot of industry.  A place that was more understandable. He said it would be a very short visit. It was.

We hovered above the continent and looked down. Our far off view made the land look like it was covered in green with a scattering of white dome-like areas with paths leading away for a short distance.  I didn’t see any connections between the white dome areas. As we dropped closer we floated above a conglomeration of roadways. It seemed like white ribbons of rolled around and under and atop each other. It didn’t look like our neat clover-leafs but more jumbled. More like tied knots than anything else.

And the ribbons moved along at various speeds. People, the size of ants stepped on and off. It resembled swarms moving in unison and then separating at different junctions. As we moved closer in, we saw the center hubs consisted of clear domes with the roadways branching away from them. The multiple levels of road ribbons straightened out as they moved out into the trees. It seemed as I was looking down on a rain forest with white intrusions. We rose up higher just before we left I could see the planet consisted of one huge continent surrounded by a single ocean.

Jesus explained that this was a very small planet.

All that green with the white domes made the land look like polka dots from up high. I realized that space between domes was the same distance. There seemed to be a strange contrast between organization and disorganization.

By now I lost focus again and had drifted off into my own scattered images. I didn’t say goodbye to the others but I am sure they understood.

I don’t put all of our travels on the web. Possibly because I have never figured out how much of my mental self goes on these travels with Jesus. Sometimes, like today, I think only a small part of my mind goes with him because I fell away so easily. But at other times, when my mind is greatly focused, I feel almost physically present. On rare occasions I have felt stone or grass beneath my feet or the texture of a leaf. Most often, it is only a small part of my mind that goes along on these travels.

Jesus, of course, is an exception. He can become physical at will and he can also choose to allow our mental/spiritual bodies to become visible to other beings on certain planets.

This might all seem crazy to some, but I have been traveling with Jesus and writing about it for more than fifteen years. So if I am nuts, it has been a long time running. The angels have told me that they will learn from these writings. So I feel compensated even if no one today reads them. I should also mention that the friends who join in these travels don’t necessarily see Jesus’ spirit as the one leading us. A few are as likely to give his spirit the label of a different holy figure. Jesus doesn’t dispute this because he belongs to all people.

I watched an interesting YouTube program about water the other night. The studies suggest that water retains memories of what it encounters. After watching a few different programs I began to wonder if the strange and unknown properties of water was one of the reasons Jesus taught us to use water for baptism. The Christian church and other religions have used water in this way for 2000 years. Water could also help give meditation its long term effect on our brains and bodies. Water molecules wrap around every brain cell and body cell and flows through our bodies in a never ending circuit. Did Jesus understand that water would most easily carry his spirit?

Water seems to act as a magical substance inside us. One TED speaker said water has 70 different unique properties. An experiment about water memory was most interesting. When they put a flower into ordinary water and then looked at the drops through a microscope, the dried drops looked different according to the different flowers used. They tried this experiment with people too. The different people who handed the eye drop tubes influenced the pattern of the water drops. I wonder if water blessed by a priest would also show a difference. The scientists surmised that somehow, beyond the ability of science to explain, water holds the memory of its environment. A river stream has a memory of what it flows over and through and carries that memory into the ocean. I included a links here on this fascinating subject. The Mystery of Water – Documentary by Aerospace Engineering.  (Not sure if this link will work but the name should be enough.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5NJaUlohT8&list=LLs4Bc_xhzIDw_-RyEx1bnVQ&index=4

I watched Warren Buffett in an interview on PBS. He is 86 years old and totally happy and totally giving and seems to be a totally nice person. The niceness is obvious when he speaks along with humility. He seems to have lasting values. We should all emulate him when we can. He mentioned that his housekeeper pays 15% in federal taxes while he pays 17% in federal taxes. He agrees that this is a senseless upside-down system. Bernie Sanders ran on this kind of platform that would increase taxes on the rich to pay for needs of our infrastructure and education. Warren said in the interview, “I have a good home with lasting memories where my family can visit. What more could I want or need.”

I certainly agree with his attitude. It is a wise person who knows when they have enough stuff.
